About Us
Incorporated as a professional corporation in 2016, the business is focused on providing services to corporations and individuals in need of professional tax advice and other accounting related services. We believe that while the ultimate completed product/service to the client is important, that the upfront planning meetings, execution and communication throughout the process is equally vital. Without proper communication on both sides, the client will be unaware of the progress and the strategies employed and the advisor may be unaware of important factors which could impact the proposed strategy. Therefore, we believe that communication between the client and the advisor is key to implementing a successful ongoing relationship that will ultimately benefit the client.
About Andrew Donovan
Andrew Donovan obtained his bachelor of accounting (honours) degree from Brock University in 2005 and his designation as a Chartered Accountant in 2006. He started first as a co-op student with Deloitte in 2002 and then accepted a full-time position with Deloitte in 2005 where he stayed until 2013. During this time, Andrew focused primarily in the assurance sector, advising both small businesses and public companies. As a significant portion of this time was spent in a managerial position, Andrew was constantly interfacing with key management and from this, gained invaluable experience into the concerns facing business owners and the factors driving their success. This experience was capitalized on when in 2013, Andrew resigned from his position as a senior manager at Deloitte and took a position within industry at a global public company as part of their financial reporting team. During this time, Andrew was involved in preparing the consolidated financial statements, corporate tax matters, and other business issues which continued to add depth to the experience he had obtained from Deloitte. In 2015, Andrew resigned from his position at this company and accepted a position in Barrie at a local accounting firm in order to be closer to his family. From here, he quickly applied his past experience and familiarized himself with issues facing small businesses and individuals and in 2016 he formed his own professional corporation to focus on the needs of corporations, individuals, and estates.
